World Mental Health Day- You're not alone
In today's world every other human-being has at least once suffered from some mental health disorder be it anxiety, depression or others but nobody talks about it because 'LOG KYA KAHENGE' or 'NOBODY WILL UNDERSTAND' or even 'I AM STRONG AND PEOPLE CAN'T KNOW THAT I CRY AND SUFFER'. Well, let me tell you; you are not your depression or what it is telling you, you are not your anxiety and most importantly you're not alone. With passing time and generation's people have become educative and sensitive about mental health. In an effort to promote mental health and raise awareness, the World Federation of Mental Health (WFMH) established World Mental Health Day on October 10 in 1992

Reason why World Mental Health Day is celebrated?

| Mental Health Awareness |
People suffering from any kind of mental health disorder think that, 'It is the end of the world for them' which is not true. If those around them don't encourage them, aid them, and are kind to them, the risk of dying of young will be higher than that of those who don't have this condition. Due to their propensity for negative thinking and overthinking. WHO has stated that, suicide is the second-leading cause of mortality for those between the ages of 15 and 19 years, and depression is one of the major illnesses and disabilities that affect teenagers (2). 16% of the worldwide burden of disease and damage among people ages 10 to 19 is attributable to mental health problems.
The main aim of celebrating World Mental Heath every year is to make more people aware about it, end the stigma of talking about it, motivate and encourage people that, 'THEY ARE NOT ALONE'

| Mental Health is a priority |
Different themes have been adopted since 1994 and up to the present to encourage interest for particular concerns. Health, trauma, suicide, women, children, the workplace, and many other topics entered the main discussion.
The annual theme is "MAKING MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING FOR ALL A GLOBAL PRIORITY," which is different this year.
Governments, stakeholders, individuals, and everyone in between will have the chance to come together on this day whether they are struggling with mental health disorders or supporting the cause. The day will help recognize all the advancements made in this area over the years and raise awareness of what needs to be done to make mental health a top concern for everyone on the planet.
Different ways to improve our well-being and mental illness
Coping up with mental illness is different for different people. For some people it is listening to music, working out and burning sweat, for some it is not letting other know and and staying inside until one feels the best of themselves and for rest it could be talking to a friend.
Go take a walk to the park, make a playlist that you've always wanted to make or that you had been procrastinating, go paint your nails, take a warm hot water bath while listening to music, talk to a friend or meet your friends, cook your favorite food, watch your comfort movie/show, sleep (most importantly), plan a trek and spend evenings or nights where you can watch the sunset/stars/the moon and sunrises, do Yoga/ exercise's, meditate. Just get out of your home and see yourself progressing already.
I would want you to grab a diary and note down how your days are and what you feel. Examine your written after a week and then after a month. You'll soon become aware of the graph of your ideas and comprehend where it's going. Every bizarre circumstance conceals kindness. Discovering that would priorities your mental wellness!
